It's that time of the season when everyone is graduating from college. I will also be graduating next week (yay?) and I have been receiving complaints from friends and acquaintances that they have no idea what to wear. So I decided to put together 5 different looks to inspire your graduation outfit. The looks I have put together aren't your everyday graduation outfits. As a fashionista, you want to stand out even if it is in the most subtle way.
1. The first look I put together was the peplum dress. It is very formal and one of the biggest trends of the season. At least 5 people will be wearing an outfit with the peplum silhouette. To stand out from the crowd you can simply add neon accessories to your simple black peplum dress. Another thing about the peplum dress is that it looks good on all body types as long as you get the right fit.
2. The second look is a chic and simple black top paired with black pants. This look is easy to get and gives you the air of effortless sophistication, to make the outfit more glamorous, pair with gold jewellery. You don't have to go shopping to get this look, you can simply rummage in your closet and voila!
3. The third outfit is for the uber stylish glamazon that craves comfort. The embellished skirt and sheer white top is a perfect combination for a formal yet sleek look. you can style your hair up or down and complete the look with a red pout.
4. This look is for the confident, non conforming and attention loving fashionista. This sheer maxi will definitely turn heads and at the same time get you disapproving looks from some parents. But I say why not? get your certificate in grand and fearless style.
5. The last look is very sexy but appropriate at the same time. it's a body con dress with a blazer over it. With this look you don't have to look for another dress for the after party, simply take off the blazer and you are good to go.
