STYLE CRAVINGS ADDS AN ONLINE VINTAGE BLOG STORE

 Due to the growing demand of vintage pieces in the Nigerian fashion scene, I have decided to add an online vintage store to the blog. The Vintage Cravings button will appear on the blog on the 2nd of June when we will launch our first collection " Classic Vintage". At the moment goods can only be delivered within Nigeria, as time goes on we will expand to other countries. We will deliver to all states in Nigeria with a delivery fee of N1000. 

   The "Classic Vintage" collection consists of 15 individual pieces that are timeless in their own right. No matter what kind of style you are into be it grunge, preppy, minimalistic, feminine. There is a classic vintage piece for you in the collection. The clothes are very affordable and are all under N5000. Since they may/not have been worn before you might want to make some alterations, you can indicate this in an email and it will be done for free.

   On the 2nd of June by 2pm you will be able to shop the collection. Each piece has a name, simply email me the name of the one you want and I will get back to you. Remember there are only 15 pieces, so the first person to email me about a piece gets it. So hurry!!

BEYONCE'S REVEL CONCERT COSTUMES.

 Beyonce killed her performances at the Revel concert yesterday as usual but what caught my attention were the fierce, chic and fabulous costumes she had on. She was wearing one of a kind Ralph and Russo designs who created the four look Bey rocked during her concert. R&R designer Tamara Ralph told People magazine that the look was inspired by "modern showgirl" and a team of 50 couturiers worked on the costumes which are adorned with more than 500,000 crystals from Swarovski in just four weeks.
  The costumes were designed to make Beyonce comfortable and facilitate movements for the Singer, According to co designer Michael Russo, "Beyoncé always delivers energetic performances and therefore we take into account the comfort and flexibility of each outfit and the ease of getting in and out of the pieces with quick costume changes"
   She worked those outfits and looked FIERCE in them! She's back!

STYLE CRUSH: TILDA SWINTON

  Queen of Androgyny Tilda Swinton is giving me all kinds of fierceness on the cover of Candy Magazine. As you take your time to analyze the enigmatic cover of the first transvestite magazine, let me just chip in and say Tilda's personal style is a force to reckon with. Her style is intimidating, fresh and out of this world, no one does fashion like her. If I was a designer she will be my muse because she always stands out and that is what style is all about. Check out some of her style moments below, doesn't she look like the coolest woman on planet Venus? I want to look like that when I am 50 something.

GRADUATION WEEK: DINNER, GRADUATION AND AFTER PARTY

 This is my last post on the graduation week series. I have included pictures of the awards dinner, graduation day and after party. For the dinner I decided to go for a traditional African look, complete with the head gear, for the commencement ceremony I wore the Michi Maxi by Wana Sambo as seen on this POST (even though I wore my gown over it all through) and at the after party I wore American Apparel disco shorts, Next bustier and a teal blazer from ASOS. The gold purse is my mum's. Check out the pictures below.
